Exciting news: We founded a LittleBigDreams e. V. committee! In the last few weeks, many people came up to us and asked how they can engage in our project. Therefore, we decided to form a LittleBigDreams e. V. Committee in Groningen.

Finally, we met this week for the very first time. We assigned different tasks to different people so that everybody in the committee has their own responsibility. For instance, being mainly in charge of workshops, finances, or being responsible for external affairs. Still, we come twice a month together to discuss and share new ideas, challenges, and visions. Through this committee, our LittleBigDreams Team becomes even more culturally diverse. That is excellent because it helps us in taking over different perspectives.

Further, our first meeting was not only a get-to-know-each-other, but it was also already very productive. We talked about different fundraising ideas, which we can hopefully soon organize. Among those ideas is, for example, a ceramic painting workshop which we want to operate in Groningen soon.

Additionally, at the committee meeting, we already talked about our long-term vision for our nonprofit organization. We all agreed that we want to provide help so that in the long-term, the children in the orphanage in Kon Tum are as independent of external aid as possible.

Overall, it was just amazing to see how involved and motivated everyone is to be a part of our LittleBigDreams e. V. team. We cannot wait to see what the next few months will bring.
