Our Dream Team
-
Klara Kattwinkel is a child and adolescent psychologist at a hospital and works as a self-employed psychological counselor. Throughout her journey, she has dedicated much of her time to supporting children in various contexts in Germany, the Netherlands, and Asia. Klara has been and continues to be actively involved in impact startups and initiatives, organized numerous fundraising events, and launched her own projects.
Her stay and the fundraising project in Kon Tum, Vietnam, as well as her admiration and friendship with Teresa, inspired Klara to found the nonprofit in 2019 during her studies to support Teresa's vision in a long-term and sustainable way. With a "do-it-yourself" motto, a lot of hard work, and passion, she assembled a highly motivated team and founded LittleBigDreams e.V.

Thín grew up in the area with his family. He is a farmer by profession and cultivates not only the land belonging to the orphanage but also a few fields an hour away that he and Teresa own. Since the founding of the orphanage, he has been there for all the children. Thín is also the source of ideas for the construction projects and takes on the supervision of the building sites.

All the children at the orphanage call Teresa "Mami," and it truly feels like one big family.
